Hi, I just discovered that XBMC has been ported for PC tried installing it on my stationary with a PC-Moniter, which went fine. Then I wanted to do something I had been thinking of doing in a long time; use laptop as media center, and therefor I thought I might as well use XBMC, since its a really nice piece of media center software. However, I can't get 1360x768@60Hz resolution and my TV won't accept normal 720p for some reason. Is there any way I can get the correct resolution? Here is an interesting one: Baught a F class ticket but now airline has stopped offering F on that routing so I was seated in J class. The paper ticket still shows the first class fare basis just not the boarding pass. If I write to Aeroplan and send a copy of the F class ticket will they credit me the 50% bonus miles for F class since that was what I paid for. Hey there, I have the latest t3ch build of xbmc and for some reason, I can't bookmark anymore. I used to be able to but not anymore. Just playing avi files and nothing special. I use a remote and open the menu, choose bookmarks, and click on create bookmark but nothing happens, just the click sound... very weird and I have no idea where to look for something that might have gone wrong... I have a problem with a BorderLayout within a tab disappearing in IE, but displaying fine in FF. I have a borderlayout on my page with a GridLayout in the center. On dblclick within the grid I am opening a new tab in the center. This tab has its own borderlayout. When the new tab loads in IE, the content shows up and then disappears. It loads fine in FF. I have been following the thread on the lack of award space from the US to NZ. As an airpoints gold how easy/difficult is it to use airpoints to upgrade ? If flying the Coral Route can you just upgrade from discount Y as there is no premium economy? Are awards/upgrades more available flying from LHR? I'm getting really tired flying via SYD on UA.The USA NZ nonstop flights are the hardest to upgrade on. The flights via islands are easier, but beware NZ will charge mileage upgrade for both NZ islands and islands USA even if ticketed as a single through flight, this makes the upgrade almost as expensive as on the nonstop despite getting a far inferior product. i want to set my default dash to xbmc. i also want to run a clean c drive root. with xbmp i just... ...put the prog in e:\apps\xbmp. ...renamed default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe and placed in c ...also placed the .cut file in the root of c. my modchip then boots to evoxdash (really xbmp :-) when switched on or the original dash xboxdash.xbe when switched off. question is how to set this up with xbmc ? any ideas / help greatly appreciated. btw: excellent product ! just looking forward to that usb pvr addition ;-)i also desperately want to run xbmc as my default dashboard, since it's so nice even though i miss some of the features still under development. i don't have any solution to this but i tried to simply edit the cut-file and...... - 2008-11-18
