• Sorry to those who wanted a political argument. This is a love question.
    I have come out to most of my best friends, now I want to tell the guy I like that I am gay. Please help me. I want the lines/words I should say to stop him from freaking out . PLS NO GAY HATE TALK.


  • Ok i know this probably isn't what u want to hear but think very carefully about telling him you like him. This is my own experience...i came out to my best friend told him i was gay he took that really well and was heeps supportive, then i told him i liked him, didn't take that aswell, not badly or never said anything just made him uncomfortable and avoidant. So be prepared for that happening, almost screwed up our friendship, better now but allot of guys might feel uncomfortable with one of their best friends wanting to be more then friends.


  • Just start of as friends and wait a month or so until he trusts you
    then confess its more gradual rather than an abrupt shock.


  • Ask him whether he knows a synonym for "Gay". He'll probably say: happy, cheerful; homosexual. You tell him you know another one: "Me". And no doubt the penny will drop.


  • So you want to come out?
    I suggest you don't make a big deal of it, but just drop it into a conversation at a convenient moment. Perhaps you could steer your conversation towards homosexuality, and then say "Oh by the way, I'm gay you know!"


  • if he is a good friend, then by all means tell him (that your gay). but if you want to stay friends, i dont suggest you tell him that you like him, as that could ruin your friendship (unless you find out he is also gay)
